In the course of long-term succession planning, management and colleagues welcome the fourth generation, Florian Goerg, into the family company. Following A-levels and a bank apprenticeship, Florian Goerg studied Business Administration at the universities in Cologne and Santiago de Chile graduating with a Master of Science in Business Administration.
After his studies he joined a publicly listed Danish industrial group. After holding positions in the Strategy Department and the Railway Business Line he became responsible for the Sales Support Railway.
The decision to assume responsibility for the next generation in the near future as well as for the continuing development of individual business units are key success factors for the well-positioned company Goerg & Schneider.
As assistant to the management, Florian will first spend time in each department. With his experience he will take on responsibility quickly for specific roles in the Sales Department. In addition, overarching strategic subjects such as digitalisation and marketing are part of the current area of responsibility.
