The registered association “Familienferiendorf Hübingen e.V.” is the funding provider of the family holiday village. Since its foundation in the 1960s until 2005 it had been closely linked to the diocese of Limburg both legally and in terms of personnel and had been funded by the diocese. In 2004, the diocese decided to withdraw from its responsibility for the family holiday village. After that the association became independent and has been soley in charge for the family holiday village since 2005.
The association is supported by a foundation for the sustainable financing of the family holiday village.
On the occasion of the foundation ceremony in the circus tent, Goerg & Schneider was also represented, since our company is going to support the foundation with donations.
Acitivites for our trainees as well as holiday care for the employees’ children af the family holiday village and donations for pottery activities show the close relationship.
Guests of the family holiday village learn about the importance of the raw material clay by means of the clay box.
