1969 the first ceramic laboratory was set up at the Siershahn administration site
1974 the laboratory building was enlarged
1992 the Central Laboratory in Boden was built in response to the integration of quality control and development for the semi-finished products chamotte and bodies
1996 Certification of the quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001
2002 Certification of the TÜV quality management system according to the new standard ISO 9001:2000
